The Chairperson of the Professional Commission Diego Trolese and the
#SHEisIPA team is pleased to invite sections to register participants
for the international seminar:

#SHEisIPA – Empowering Female Leaders in the IPA and Beyond:

12-17 April 2026

This seminar will explore leadership from International Police
Association, academic, and practitioner perspectives, with contributions
from experienced leadership professionals from across the world.

Target Group

Women in law enforcement and the IPA who are already in leadership roles
or aspire to become leaders and wish to strengthen their professional
skills and confidence.

Seminar Highlights

Participants will:

     * Gain confidence to pursue leadership positions
     * Understand different leadership styles and their practical application
     * Learn from current academic research shaping modern leadership
     * Develop soft skills such as presence, communication, and confidence
     * Gain insight into the structure of the IPA and its leadership roles

The programme combines expert-led presentations with interactive
workshops and covers key topics including New Work concepts, mental
health, inclusive leadership, and digital leadership. Each session is
followed by practical exercises to support skill development and peer
learning.

We kindly ask sections to promote this opportunity and register suitable
participants.
